Project: Our non-profit aims to raise USD 800,000–1,000,000 for a spiritual eco-community and reforestation park in South America. We are looking for an Online Fundraising Specialist focused on Freelancer.com, Upwork and similar platforms plus other digital channels. This is extremely important: please do not apply without measurable experience in raising funds or acquiring strategic donors/clients via online platforms. We expect concrete cases and exact amounts you helped generate. Key Responsibilities • Design and manage our presence on Freelancer.com, Upwork and similar platforms, including: • creating compelling project listings and profiles, • identifying relevant contests, calls or opportunities where our non-profit can attract funding or pro-bono support. • Explore alternative online funding channels, such as: • microgrant platforms, • online competitions, • CSR challenges, • philanthropic marketplaces. • Develop and execute a digital outreach strategy to attract donors and partners via: • platform messaging, • targeted proposals, • collaboration offers with agencies and fundraising professionals. • Coordinate with our core fundraising team so that online platform work supports the main crowdfunding and grant strategies. • Track and report performance: • number of leads, • conversations started, • funds raised / opportunities opened via these platforms. Requirements • Proven experience using Freelancer.com, Upwork or similar platforms to: • raise funds, or • acquire strategic funding-related clients for social / environmental projects. • Strong written communication skills and ability to adapt messaging to different platforms. • Understanding of non-profit fundraising and donor/partner psychology. • Comfortable working independently, testing hypotheses and iterating based on data. Case Studies & Results (Mandatory) Please provide: • Links to your profiles on relevant platforms (Upwork, Freelancer.com, etc.). • 2–3 concrete examples where your work on such platforms: • led directly to funding (donations, contracts, grants), • with exact amounts raised or contract values. • Brief explanation of: • your strategy in each case, • what messages/offers worked best, • and what you would transfer to our project.
