Brands: KeySmart & Statik About the Role We’re a fast-growing DTC group obsessed with design, performance, and innovation. We’re looking for a Packaging & Merchandising Display Designer who lives for the moment when a product hits the shelf and stands out. You’ll lead the design of packaging, POP displays, and retail experiences that make our brands impossible to ignore—translating our digital identity into physical impact. What You’ll Do ● Design packaging for consumer electronics and accessories that captures attention and drives purchase. ● Create impactful retail displays (POP, countertop, FSDUs, etc.) that tell our brand story and boost sell-through. ● Develop sales assets—catalogs, one-pagers, and pitch decks—to support retailer and distributor sell-in. ● Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales to take packaging from concept to shelf. ● Manage technical precision: dielines, production specs, vendor-ready files, and print QA. ● Coordinate with supply chain to ensure materials, costs, and timelines align seamlessly. You’ll Also: ● Maintain packaging and display asset libraries and design systems. ● Research packaging and merchandising trends (consumer electronics, lifestyle, DTC). ● Contribute to product launch brainstorms and retail campaign creative. ● Occasionally support planogram layouts or trade show visuals. What You Bring ● 3–5+ years of experience designing retail packaging (consumer electronics a plus). ● A portfolio that proves impact—packaging, POP displays, and sales collateral that made it to market. ● Mastery of dielines, print production, and finishing techniques. ● Solid grasp of retail psychology and what makes packaging perform. ● Experience with packaging compliance (barcodes, warnings, QR codes, etc.). ● Fluency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. ● (Bonus) KeyShot or 3D visualization experience. Nice-to-Have ● Experience designing PDQs, FSDUs, and countertop displays. ● Familiarity with planogramming or retailer specs (Target, Walmart, Best Buy). ● Basic motion or 3D skills for in-store visualization or mockups. Who You Are ● Self-starter—no micro-management needed. ● Clear communicator and collaborator. ● Organized, process-driven, and creative under pressure. ● Detail-obsessed—polishes the last 5%.
