Part-Time Financial Controller 📍 Remote | ⏰ Part-Time Upstart AEC builds and manages remote teams for clients in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. We’re looking for an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial operations and provide strategic insights that support our clients. This role will initially focus on supporting one of our clients - an innovative company specializing in sustainable building solutions and smart energy design for urban spaces. Responsibilities: • Manage financial reporting and budgeting • Oversee cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices • Provide financial analysis to support leadership decision-making • Implement and improve internal financial processes Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior accounting role • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations • Proficiency with accounting software and reporting tools • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Experience with professional services, construction, or energy-related industries is a plus This is a flexible, part-time remote position ideal for someone who enjoys applying their expertise to support growing businesses in the AEC space.
