We are EscaTEQ, the global leader in hand held escalator cleaning solutions. We are basd in The Netherlands and seeking a resourceful PR freelancer to pitch and secure editorial placements in international trade publications. Scope of Work: • Focus: trade publications in the transportation sector, including airports, as well as property management, facilities management, cleaning & hygiene, and shopping centers. • Excluded: No US or Canadian outlets. • Geographic/Language targets: • EU & UK (English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch) • GCC (Arabic) • Asia: Japan (Japanese), Taiwan (Mandarin), Hong Kong (Cantonese/English), Singapore (English/Mandarin) • Current assets: • ~100 vetted media targets (cleaned list with editor names & contacts provided). • 4 editorials (90% complete, need polish). These 4 are the basis for our efforts and will likely be updated so as to be reused for new editorials in various global outlets, sectors and languages. • 3 press releases (ready for polish). What you will do: • Edit/polish our draft editorials and press releases. Once the press releases are submitted, we'll likely hod off on anymore for another 3 months • Pitch and submit editorials to editors and trade media. This is the core focus of our efforts. • Pursue placement with follow-up until published. • Coordinate translations and localization using AI tools if and as needed. • Track outreach and placements for transparency and success tracking (bonus). • Suggest additional outlets in scope for approval. Success Criteria: • Regular outreach logged (number of pitches sent, responses, follow-ups). • Editorials published in recognized trade outlets (not low-traffic blogs). • Regular reporting on placements achieved. Compensation: • Base pay: hourly or fixed (depending on preference). • Bonus: $100 per successful editorial placement in a validated trade publication from our list or any approved additions. • Blogs or irrelevant outlets are not eligible for bonus. Ideal Candidate: • PR or media outreach background (agency or freelance). • Experience with international trade press. • Strong written communication skills. • Organized, persistent, and resourceful.
