We are seeking a skilled Prepress Specialist with experience in large format printing to support our production team. This remote, freelance opportunity involves preparing print-ready files for various applications such as banners, vehicle wraps, and storefront signage. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and can efficiently handle high-volume projects. Compensation: $3.00 per prepress file We process a large volume of files, so this is a great opportunity for consistent freelance work. Responsibilities: Prepare print-ready files for vinyl wraps, posters, and window graphics Ensure proper bleed, resolution, scaling, and color profiles (CMYK) Add contour cut lines when needed Format files for printers like Roland, HP Latex, or similar Communicate with our production team to ensure specs are met Occasionally create simple layouts or mockups based on templates Requirements: Experience in prepress for large format printing Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Strong understanding of DPI, bleed, safe zones, and color accuracy Familiarity with vinyl and window graphic materials (e.g., 3M, Oracal) Fast turnaround and attention to detail Bonus if you have: Experience with storefront or out-of-home advertising Knowledge of RIP software (e.g., VersaWorks, Onyx) Ability to create mockups or visual previews for clients To apply, please include: A brief summary of your experience Examples of large format print files you’ve prepared Your availability and turnaround time
