ERM is looking for a motivated, hands-on Senior Consultant (SP/ RJ) to join our team in São Paulo. Working under the direction of program managers and partners, the successful candidate will work on interesting projects throughout the region, with increasing responsibility for task/project management duties. This is a great opportunity to work with ERM's experts to handle process safety management projects (PSM) and EHS projects. Key Responsibilities and Requirements: Execute Process Hazard Analyses, including HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA, DHA, Bow Tie Analysis, and SIL Verification. Perform Consequence Analysis, Vulnerability Assessments, and Quantitative Risk Analysis. Deliver technical consulting services across elements of Risk-Based Process Safety Management Systems (e.g., Asset Integrity & Reliability, Pre-Startup Safety Review, Management of Change, Incident Investigation). Support business development initiatives related to Process Safety Management. Ensure compliance with project quality, budget, and schedule requirements while managing scope-specific assignments. Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities. Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects involving safety and environmental compliance. Conduct EHS compliance assessments and implement corrective actions to meet federal, state, and local regulations. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Process Safety Management projects (PSM). Proven expertise in Process Safety studies such as HAZOP, LOPA, FMEA, and Hazardous Area Classification. Strong background in industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, and Petrochemicals. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. Solid understanding of Brazilian EHS regulations. Ability to thrive in a consulting environment, managing multiple assignments, meeting tight deadlines, and traveling to client sites as required. Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese and English is mandatory. Flexible, self-driven, and capable of multitasking.
