The Product Owner (Geophysical Survey) is responsible for driving the product development roadmap and requirements for software products related Geophysical Survey. This role ensures that the requirements gathered to drive product development are balanced between business and clients’ needs/wants with technical feasibility to achieve the outcome, whilst taking stakeholders on the journey. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of technical and product development skills, complimented with strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities. This role combines the core responsibilities of a Software Product Owner with technical skills and desirable traits from a Project Report Coordinator role. What will you do: Help define and communicate the product vision and strategy to all involved teams and stakeholders. Ensure backlogs and roadmaps are prioritised, clearly defined, and aligned with the product vision and goals. Engage with stakeholders to create and prioritise user stories that describe the features and functionalities of the product, and ensure they are aligned with broader organisational vision and goals. Lead the development team to ensure efficient, high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to review product status, direction, and establish priorities. Review project scope and plan work, setting up timelines for different stages. Ensure that process flows are followed and adjusted as needed for project success. Work alongside Solution Managers to enable governance & reporting on product scope, milestones, risks & issues. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure quality and safety of our products Communicate with stakeholders across the business on the product’s progress against the roadmap and insights informing ongoing development. Write or oversee the writing of, user guides, and other technical documentation that describes the product or how the use the product. Contribute to planning and roadmap activities across Solution portfolios to ensure dependencies and priorities are aligned and managed ongoing. Who you are: Minimum of five years previous Offshore Survey Industry experience within data processing and reporting. General understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Strong understanding of quality management standards, policies, and procedures. Strong interpersonal and people management skills. Critical thinking and ability to show initiative. Open and receptive to new and different ideas. Ability to work well in a team and independently. At least 5 years of experience as a product owner, business analyst or similar role. Strong decision making abilities, taking accountability of decisions within your remit. Skills visualising project progress to motivate the development team and increase transparency to stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to easily interpret and distil business requirements into user stories/tasks and communicate effectively to the development team. Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a way that is easily understandable to non-technical users. Excellent presentation and communication skills C2 or native English level proficiency. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment. Driven, proactive and able to work autonomously with little supervision towards the company's vision. Desirable: Experience leading teams in Agile software development projects. Experience and proficiency with Jia & Confluence software tools Experience analysing and prioritising tasks based on user needs, through direct observation, product testing, collecting and analysing data and feedback. Salary: Up to 54,000 SEK monthly Salary: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
