I’m looking for an experienced graphic designer to refine and finalize an existing logo for an athletic performance brand called Redwood Performance. This is not a logo-from-scratch project. The concept, structure, and overall form already exist. The task is to cleanly refine, unify, and production-proof the logo while preserving its identity. The logo features a stylized redwood tree icon composed of angular branch layers, along with a curved swoosh or slope element wrapping the lower portion of the tree. The aesthetic is modern, strong, minimal, and athletic. The primary use cases are apparel, embroidered socks, print, and web. Reference images of the current logo will be provided. SCOPE OF WORK The work involves refining the existing logo with attention to: Consistent and natural branch thickness (some current branches feel uneven) Clean geometry and optical balance Subtle integration between the swoosh and the tree structure without changing the swoosh’s shape Ensuring the mark works at small sizes and for embroidery Maintaining a unified silhouette while preserving intentional negative space This is a refinement project, not a redesign. The swoosh shape, overall direction, and identity must remain recognizable. REQUIREMENTS Final logo delivered as vector files (AI, SVG, EPS) Flat color versions only (no gradients) Stitch-friendly, embroidery-ready structure Clean path construction and attention to detail BEFORE STARTING Before beginning, please confirm that you: Understand this is a refinement project, not a new concept Will preserve the existing form and identity Can identify any technical, production, or embroidery-related concerns in advance IDEAL DESIGNER Experience with logo refinement and vector cleanup Experience designing for apparel and embroidery Clear communication and respect for constraints DELIVERABLES Final refined logo (vector + export formats) Black, white, and single-color versions Optional notes on production or stitching considerations TIMELINE Short, focused project.
