Position Overview The Golang/Python Engineer will be a motivated individual with API development and cloud platform expertise. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating secure, scalable, and compliant solutions that power next-generation healthcare applications. They will work in an Agile environment alongside other engineers and bring exposure to cybersecurity best practices, AI-driven solutions, and regulatory standards in healthcare (HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.). Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Golang and Python • Develop cloud-native applications and services targeted for the Azure platform • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment • Ensure solutions adhere to compliance and cybersecurity frameworks • Integrate AI-powered functionalities into applications as part of product roadmaps • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with version control in GitHub • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and problem-solving sessions • Implement performance optimizations, security patches, and bug fixes as needed. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field • 2–4 years of hands-on software development experience • Proficiency in Golang and Python with focus on API design and implementation • Experience in cloud platform services (including deployment, scaling, and monitoring) • Knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps • Understanding of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST) and secure coding practices • Exposure to cybersecurity principles and common vulnerabilities • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in software solutions Preferred Skills • Background in healthcare technology or experience working with EHR/EMR systems • Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare interoperability standards • Experience developing systems within HIE (Health Information Exchange) frameworks • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) Soft Skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, regulated environment • Commitment to quality, security, and user-focused design Benefits • Opportunity to work on impact-driven healthcare solutions that improve patient outcomes • Professional growth in emerging tech areas like AI, security, and healthcare interoperability
