- Responsibilities
- Lead a newly formed nearshore Acquisition Team in collaboration with the team’s Tech Lead.
- Act as a primary point of contact for U.S.-based Product Owners and Solutions Architects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deeply understand their challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Maintain and prioritize the team’s backlog, balancing competing priorities to maximize value delivery.
- Oversee the execution of sprints and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate retrospectives to drive learning and adaptation.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of agile practices and processes within the team.
- Qualifications and Job Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience, with 3+ years as a product manager or product owner.
- A track record of increasing responsibility in product management.
- Highly effective at leading teams without authority.
- Experience developing and deploying features for a highly considered product or service.
- Know when and how to craft qualitative and quantitative feature tests
- Clear and concise written communication with proven ability to summarize large, complex, and conflicting data.
- Experience at a high-growth startup or within insurance or financial services is a plus.
- Strong understanding of agile principles and practices, with experience in managing backlogs, writing user stories, and facilitating sprints.
- Proficiency in agile tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Visio) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly to various audiences.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the tenacity to pursue complex problems.
