  • As a Semi-Senior Software Engineer specializing in robotics, you will play a key role in developing software that powers advanced robotic systems. You will work on challenging projects such as mobile robot navigation, fleet management, manipulators, computer vision, and mission planning, collaborating with a global team of engineers. This role offers the opportunity to implement high-performance software solutions, contribute to open source projects, and actively participate in shaping the next generation of robotics technology.   • Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for robotic systems using various tech stacks and algorithms.
  • Implementing high-quality software for mobile robot navigation, localization, mission planning, fleet management, and manipulators.
  • Applying open source tools and libraries effectively to accelerate development.
  • Participating in design discussions and proposing implementation ideas for complex technical challenges.
  • Ensuring robust testing practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, and simulation-based validation.
  • Sharing knowledge with peers through internal training sessions and mentorship within the engineering team.

To succeed in this role, you should have

  • Solid experience in C++ and/or Python development.
  • Familiarity with containerized environments and Docker.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development principles and tools such as GTest or GMock.
  • Ability to independently manage mid-sized software development tasks from design to deployment.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort engaging in technical discussions and proposals.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English for a bilingual work environment.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with ROS or ROS 2.
  • Knowledge of core software engineering concepts like object-oriented programming, testing, and data structures.
  • Familiarity with robotic simulation environments such as Gazebo, Unity, NVIDIA Isaac, or Webots.
