  • Job Description
  • The Senior Accounting Analyst a key position within Evolution Brazil accounting organization. The position will provide support to the chief accountant in maintaining accurate accounting records, ensure timely regulatory and corporate reporting requirements develop the accounting and reporting processes within Evolution Brazil. Evolution has a history of strong growth in the markets where the company has entered, and Brazil will be an important market for Evolutions future growth. The right candidate will find opportunities to be involved in building an accounting organization in a multinational company, improving processes, and will be collaborating with teams both locally in Brazil as well with other teams across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • General Accounting & Reconciliation
  • Process and record accounting entries accurately and on time.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Communicate with requesters or departments to clarify and clear reconciliation issues.
  • Fixed Assets Management
  • Manage the entire fixed assets lifecycle including acquisition, disposal, write-offs, and transfers.
  • Ensure fixed asset transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and IFRS standards related to fixed assets.
  • Payroll Integration
  • Run the payroll and make sure the numbers are accurate.
  • Integrate payroll data into the company ERP system
  • Perform reconciliations between the payroll system and ERP to ensure all balances match accurately.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable Support
  • Support the AP and AR teams in processing, reviewing, and reconciling transactions as needed.
  • Tax Support
  • Provide assistance to the chief accountant in preparing and reviewing tax filings.
  • Support in matters related to government tax offices when necessary.
  • Support to have reconciliation match with government declaration.
  • Experience with ECD and ECF.
  • Experience with Bacen register.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
  • Provide direction, guidance, and support to mid-level and junior accounting staff.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and address customer-related accounting matters.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and company accounting policies.
  • Experience with ERP systems and payroll integration. Experience with Microsoft Business Central or Navision Dynamics is meriting.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advance excel skills
  • Fluent in English

  • Experience in a multinational or fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
