- In this role, you will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and cloud-based architectures that enable advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate multiple data sources, ensure data quality, and optimize performance at scale. - Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end data solutions, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Integrate multiple data sources, including relational databases, streaming platforms, and cloud storage systems.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and programmatic pipelines to support analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Create detailed technical documentation, including POCs, system diagrams, and architecture roadmaps.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Support workflow management and orchestration using tools such as Airflow, Luigi, or equivalent platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or Data Analyst.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and/or Scala.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, including Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, and Databricks.
- Advanced SQL skills, including writing, debugging, and optimizing complex queries.
- Experience with data integration and transformation technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Streamsets, Matillion, Fivetran, NiFi, or dbt.
- Knowledge of distributed data storage systems (S3, ADLS, HDFS, GCS, Kudu, NoSQL databases).
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, AWS Managed Airflow, Luigi, or NiFi.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) for client-facing interactions and presentations.
- Preferred experience with multiple data sources, automated pipelines, and production-ready cloud data platforms.
