  • We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms that empower enterprise decision-making. In this role, you will collaborate closely with software engineering, AI/ML, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. You will have the opportunity to work across the full data lifecycle, from ingestion and processing to storage and visualization, ensuring data reliability and performance at scale. This is a fully remote, flexible position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the region while contributing to critical business operations and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate is independent, detail-oriented, and passionate about building data systems that have real-world impact.
  • Accountabilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and data stores supporting enterprise analytics, AI/ML, and operations.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance, stability, and efficiency of data services.
  • Collaborate with peers across software engineering, AI/ML, DevOps, and analytics teams.
  • Guide, mentor, and support engineers, BI developers, and data analysts.
  • Implement infrastructure, alerting, and monitoring frameworks to ensure high-quality data delivery.
  • Support internal and external data consumers, including business-critical vendors, through data integration, APIs, and SFTP workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or demonstrated equivalent experience).
  • 1–5 years of professional experience in data engineering or related technical roles.
  • Proficiency in programming with Python and/or Scala.
  • Strong experience with structured (SQL) and unstructured (NoSQL) data management; Redshift experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data visualization principles and tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with cloud-native technologies and services such as AWS S3, EMR (Spark), Lambda, Kinesis, Firehose, Glue, and Terraform.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle, version control (git), and infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to professional growth.

Desirable skills

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) development.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale database modeling and feature stores.
  • Prior experience mentoring or coaching technical peers.
