• Location and Flexibility
• This is a hybrid role. This model requires the ability to work in a hybrid mode from one of our offices in São Paulo (2 times/ week or 8 days/ month) or Porto Alegre (3 times/ week or 12 days/ month). Our WFN culture is designed to foster in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with team members local and visiting from other global offices.
• The Opportunity
• We are hiring for an enthusiastic Senior Full Stack Engineer. You will be responsible for designing and building scalable and resilient systems that power our applications. Leveraging your expertise in frontend frameworks, backend technologies, cloud platforms, databases, and API development, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust end-to-end solutions that meet the needs of our clients and users.

• Responsibilities
• Confidently deliver high-quality software across the entire stack by applying critical thinking to products, requirements, and processes
• Design and implement responsive, performant user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js, with preference for Next.js experience
• Develop scalable backend systems and APIs that support complex frontend requirements using TypeScript and other modern technologies
• Partner closely with clients to influence technical product decisions and business goals
• Continually stay up to date with the landscape of full-stack engineering best practices, tools, and frameworks, particularly in the Next.js and TypeScript ecosystem
• Have extensive professional programming experience— we're thinking at least 7+ years
• Understand various software architectures and adapt/compose solutions to unique problems with sustainable and reusable approaches
• Help mentor and coach a project team towards shared goals and outcomes
• Navigate difficult conversations by providing constructive feedback to teams and clients
• Identify obstacles to ensure quality, improve our user experience and how we build software
• Be self-aware of limitations, yet curious to learn new solutions while being receptive to constructive feedback from teammates
• Guide your team to understand and work through changing priorities by bringing positive energy
• Communicate and simplify complex problems in order to foster understanding across multidisciplinary teams
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to design efficient data models and optimize data access
• Design and develop APIs that are well-documented, reliable, and consumable by various clients
• Implement state management solutions and optimize frontend performance, particularly in React/Next.js applications
• Create responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks and best practices, with strong TypeScript implementation
• Troubleshoot problems across the entire stack, identify root causes, and autonomously implement remedial actions
• Qualifications

• Have relevant professional full-stack programming experience, writing high-quality code from scratch
• Inspire others to write code that is durable, secure, scalable, always up and running
• Have in-depth experience with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with preference for TypeScript proficiency
• Proficient in modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js), with preference for Next.js experience
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern web standards
• Experience with frontend build tools and module bundlers (Webpack, Vite, etc.), particularly those used in Next.js ecosystems
• Have in-depth experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases. This could be PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or another type of document-database. This includes experience with schema design, indexing, querying, and performance tuning
• Eager to share your knowledge with teammates through mentorship, code reviews and pair programming sessions
• Have experience writing full-stack apps for Azure, AWS, GCP, CloudFoundry, Heroku, SalesForce, Mulesoft and/or other cloud providers
• Well-versed in using Cloud Provider utilities such as CLI tools and Consoles (Azure Portal, AWS Console)
• Have experience developing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs, preferably with TypeScript
• Possess strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across the entire technology stack
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development approaches, particularly in React/Next.js applications
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks and methodologies, including those compatible with TypeScript and Next.js
• Effectively communicate system architecture and development decisions to clients and teammates
• Strong appreciation for CI/CD (e.g. CircleCI, TeamCity, AzureDevops) and experience setting up deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices
• Understanding of AI and machine learning integration in full-stack applications
• Experience with Next.js features such as server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes is highly preferred
