• As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on the Chef Tech Squad, you will play a key role in building and maintaining tools that empower chefs on a high-impact platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to define product strategy, implement features, and iterate on solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experience. The role offers ownership of both frontend and backend development, involvement in technical architecture, and opportunities to mentor other engineers. You will contribute to high-quality software delivery, support system reliability, and drive meaningful improvements that directly impact users and organizational growth. • Accountabilities
• Design, implement, and maintain features across the full stack, including frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional teams to refine and improve products iteratively.
• Contribute to the adoption of best practices, robust software architecture, and modern development methodologies.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and provide technical guidance across the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring high uptime and system reliability.
• Participate in agile processes to deliver high-quality features and enhancements on time.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
• Proficiency with Typescript, NodeJS, ReactJS, GraphQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and building cloud architectures, backend services, and web applications.
• Knowledge of service-oriented architecture and RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with testing practices, including unit and end-to-end tests.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI environments, or cloud infrastructure is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work in fast-paced startup environments.
• Advanced level of English for professional communication.
• Experience leading or mentoring teams is highly valued.
