• This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Core) in Latin America.
• As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native, scalable infrastructure that supports global connectivity solutions. You will work closely with engineering teams to improve automation, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and enhance the resilience of infrastructure systems. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies, including Kubernetes, service mesh, and containerization, while providing opportunities to deepen expertise in network protocols and multi-cloud architectures. You will be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact the scalability and reliability of the platform and support innovation across product teams.

Accountabilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, cloud-agnostic infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and continuously improve architecture for resilience and scalability.
• Develop and manage infrastructure provisioning automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee Kubernetes management and applications development, including on-premises cluster operations.
• Support containerization strategies and service mesh implementations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking, Linux systems, and distributed applications.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure processes and systems.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development and infrastructure operations.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes management and containerized application deployment.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Golang).
• Expert knowledge in configuration and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and optimization.
• Solid understanding of Linux networking, operating systems, and basic networking protocols (DNS, HTTP, TLS); knowledge of BGP is a plus.
• Familiarity with service discovery and service mesh architectures is highly desirable.
