- Own the design and evolution of our analytics data architecture, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Manage and prioritize the analytics engineering roadmap, balancing business needs with foundational technical work
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analytics engineers, fostering technical excellence and career development
- Lead the response to high-pressure, revenue-impacting data incidents by coordinating cross-functional teams, mitigating risk quickly, and driving long-term solutions to prevent recurrence
- Partner with stakeholders across all areas of the business to understand reporting and data needs, translating them into technical requirements, including Product, Finance, Marketing, Data Science, and GTM.
- Enable AI product development by transforming relational data into graph-based structures (nodes, edges, properties), making advanced queries such as pathfinding, relationship mapping, and recommendations more intuitive and efficient.
- Champion and design practices around data governance, documentation, testing, reliability and quality standards across datasets and reporting tools
- Oversee and optimize BI and analytics tooling, enabling self-serve reporting and consistent, trusted metrics
- Partner with Engineering to evolve our data platform and ensure pipelines are efficient, maintainable, and cost-optimized.
- Own the design and ongoing evolution of frontend event data strategy, ensuring robust instrumentation, consistent standards, and seamless integration with downstream systems in partnership with Engineering.
- 6+ years in data or analytics engineering, 3+ years in a leadership or management role
- Strong technical expertise in SQL, dbt, and modern data modeling practices
- Expert proficiency with ETL/ELT frameworks and tools: e.g. Airflow, Fivetran
- Experience designing and maintaining analytics data pipelines, testing best practices, and architecture in cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Hands-on experience with BI tooling (e.g., Looker, Tableau, or equivalent), including managing semantic layers, dashboards, and governance
- Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management, able to balance competing priorities and communicate clearly across technical and business teams
- Track record of delivering scalable, high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong people management experience, including setting goals, driving accountability, and developing talent
- Bonus:
- You’ve led data roadmap planning and can balance business requests with foundational infrastructure investments
- Experience with graph data modeling, including designing node, edge, and property schemas from relational or tabular data.
- Experience with Python or another object-oriented programming language
- Strong LookML experience
- Experience with frontend eventing and sessionization

- Zone 1: $182,000 - $220,000 TTC (including $160,000 - $193,000 base salary) + equity
- Zone 2: $168,000 - $203,000 TTC (including $148,000 - $179,000 base salary) + equity
- Zone 3: $155,000 - $187,000 TTC (including $135,000 - $164,000 base salary) + equity
