Role Description
This role involves leading a team responsible for transforming and integrating development and operations processes.
- Leads and manages the DevOps team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of DevOps tools and processes.
- Collaborates with software development and IT operations teams to automate and streamline workflows.
- Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation across teams.
- Ensures security and compliance of all DevOps practices.
- Monitors and reports on key DevOps performance indicators (KPIs).
- Evaluates new tools, trends, and best practices to improve processes and delivery pipelines.
- Manages and optimizes cloud infrastructure and services.
- Oversees incident management and resolution processes to ensure timely issue resolution.
- May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required.
- Eight (8) plus years of experience in DevOps or a related role.
- Three (3) plus years of leadership experience.
- Experience deploying and maintaining cloud-based microservice infrastructure.
- Experience with Pulumi required.
- Hands-on experience with AWS required.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and practices (e.g., GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Git).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to drive continuous improvement.
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Requirements
- Salary: $140,000 - $200,000
- Bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
