- Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintech's, payment enablers and governments.
- The Brazil Consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s issuers, merchants and acquires in Brazil. We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions to assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth and improve profitability.
- The VCA team is looking for a Senior Manager to join our consulting practice and play a role in delivering high impact strategic projects for Visa’s clients in Brazil.
- The potential candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery and implementation of projects and solutions with Brazil Financial Institutions / Issuing Banks. This person will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both, the preferred brand and unique business partner.
Specific responsibilities include
- Develop sustainable, ethical, and empathetic relationships with clients (Brazil Financial Institutions / Issuing Banks) focused on co-development and constructive project proposals.
- Excellent client relationship management and ability to act as a trusted advisor across a variety of industry topics.
- Lead consultancy initiatives, identifying and closing engagement opportunities in lifecycle management (from acquisition to retention).
- Lead consulting initiatives and contribute to closing engagement by identifying opportunities in new markets or payment flows (e.g., B2B, B2G, Agro, Cargo).
- Identify client pain points aligned with brand strategy, develop and implement action plans to maximize revenue and engagement.
- Lead information gathering and analysis, supporting hypothesis formulation and testing to address client business problems.
- Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, and provide strategic guidance across verticals and segments.
- Leverage Visa’s innovation, product, and data capabilities to support client growth, collaborating with sales, products, innovation, and data sciences teams.
- Effectively analyze data sets (industry and Visa) to determine meaningful insights and recommendations for clients.
- Passionate, self-motivated, results-oriented individual able to handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Knowledge of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products, services, business systems, processes, and marketing initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership, managerial, and collaboration capabilities, especially in matrixed organizations (with indirect reports).
- Experience using financial indicators to measure and impact business performance, focusing on return on investment.
- Executive presence, including excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage at all levels within large organizations.
- This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
- Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- - 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- - Passionate, self-motivated, results in an oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
- - Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes, and marketing initiatives.
- - Excellent client relationship management skills and ability to develop a credible point of view on a variety of industry topics, acting as a trusted advisor.
- - Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
- - Executive presence including excellent communication and presentations skills, written and verbal, and ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations.
- - Demonstrated leadership, managerial and collaboration capabilities, particularly with those who are not direct reports as may be found in a matrixed organization.
- - Experience in several key payments business areas, such as portfolio management, marketing, product management, operations, risk management, for both credit and debit cards.
