Overview We’re a US-based fintech vendor building digital statement and document-delivery platforms for banks and credit unions. We’re big on digital delivery and workflow optimization at scale. Our stack is modern C#/.NET Core, and we lean hard on AI to move fast without getting sloppy. Front end work is part of the role — we’re modernizing the UI and are currently evaluating Angular vs React. We’re hiring a senior C#/.NET Core engineer for a full-time, long-term role. This is production work on systems that handle high-volume document generation and digital delivery. We need someone who writes clean, reliable code, can think through edge cases, and communicates clearly in a remote setup. Because our platform supports institutions handling sensitive customer data, we take security seriously. Work will be done using anonymized/synthetic data. What you’ll work on * Build and improve backend services and web apps in C#/.NET Core (MVC + Web APIs). * Help modernize and evolve our digital delivery web UI (Angular or React). * Enhance workflows that generate, process, and deliver customer documents digitally. * Improve reliability across pipelines: validation, logging, error handling, monitoring, and edge cases. * Performance tuning for high-volume, structured data and document runs. * Help keep internal documentation clear and usable as we go. Tech stack (high level) * C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC / Web APIs * JavaScript / TypeScript (front end modernization; Angular vs React evaluation in progress) * SQL-based data stores * AWS infrastructure and monitoring * AI-assisted development workflow (used daily) Tools we use: Git, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD, AWS monitoring (CloudWatch/NewRelic). What we’re looking for Must-haves: * Strong production experience with C# and .NET Core. * Solid ASP.NET MVC / Web API background. * Comfortable working across backend and front end (Angular or React experience is a plus). * Practical engineering habits: thoughtful logging, validation, testing, and performance awareness. * Clear communicator in a remote setting. * Dependable delivery and follow-through. Nice-to-haves (not required): * Python for internal tools/automation * Experience with fintech/banking, digital delivery, or document processing * Workflow orchestration / batch or high-volume processing experience * UI modernization experience in Angular and/or React Engagement details * Full-time (40 hrs/week), long-term * Remote / async-friendly with overlap for key discussions * Start: ASAP * We ask for focus during agreed working hours (no competing fintech clients during active engagement). If downtime ever occurs on our side, we handle it explicitly and fairly.
