Senior Paralegal (Latin American Lawyer Preferred) – Auto Accident / Personal Injury Remote | Full-Time | U.S. Personal Injury Law Firm We are a fast-growing personal injury law firm based in Phoenix, Arizona, seeking an exceptionally skilled Senior Paralegal with a Latin American law degree (preferred) and strong experience in legal drafting, liability analysis, and case management. This is a remote, full-time role supporting our pre-litigation team. You will work closely with our Legal Assistant and help strengthen demand packages, prepare negotiation materials, and support liability framing without providing legal advice. ⭐ About the Role You will serve as the firm’s Senior Paralegal, responsible for: Demand Drafting (Primary Responsibility) Draft high-quality demand letters based on initial drafts prepared by the Legal Assistant Strengthen narrative, damages descriptions, chronology, and causation arguments Prepare complete exhibit packets with specials, medical summaries, and supporting documentation Integrate valuation notes and strategy from the Operations Director Negotiation Support (Not practicing law) Negotiate with insurance adjusters within firm protocols Document offers, counteroffers, and adjuster interactions Prepare negotiation summaries and recommendations for attorney review Follow up persistently to move claims toward resolution Liability & Evidence Review Review police reports, photos, witness statements, and treatment records Identify potential comparative negligence issues Flag liability concerns for review by our Arizona-licensed paraprofessional Legal Consultant Incorporate consultant feedback into the liability section of demand drafts File & Client Communication Support Provide informed updates to clients about negotiation status Maintain detailed file notes Work collaboratively with the Legal Assistant and Operations Director ⭐ Qualifications Law degree from Latin America (Required) 2+ years experience working in U.S. personal injury or insurance claims (Preferred) Strong legal writing, drafting, and editing skills Excellent understanding of liability, damages, causation, and evidence Experience preparing injury demand letters or insurance claim packages Experience negotiating with U.S. insurance carriers is highly desirable Excellent English written and spoken communication Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working U.S. time zones (partial overlap with Arizona time) ⭐ Compensation Hourly or rate depending on experience Performance incentives available Long-term, stable role with growth potential ⭐ How to Apply Please submit: Resume (English) Two anonymized samples of legal drafting (demand letter, liability analysis, or similar) Short statement describing your experience with U.S. personal injury or insurance matters We look forward to meeting outstanding Colombian attorneys who want to build a long-term career with a growing U.S. law firm.
