  • In this role, you will architect and develop high-performance backend systems for critical applications, working on core infrastructure, APIs, and performance-sensitive components. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product, data, and engineering to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions. This position offers the opportunity to influence architecture decisions, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the technical direction of complex systems. Your expertise in Rust and system-level programming will directly impact the performance, reliability, and scalability of production systems.

Accountabilities

  • Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs.
  • Build and optimize performance-critical components, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting best practices in code quality and architecture.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability for production systems.
  • Participate in design decisions, balancing trade-offs between performance, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Maintain documentation and support knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in Rust production environments.
  • Proficiency in Rust, including ownership, lifetimes, and concurrency.
  • Experience with API development (REST, gRPC), service integration, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and on-premise server deployments.
  • Competence in SQL/NoSQL databases, data modeling, and low-level performance optimization.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) and collaborative mindset.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and asynchronous programming.
  • Nice to have: .NET/C#, Python, AI inference, medical device compliance, message brokers (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ), contributions to open-source Rust projects, cloud platform familiarity (AWS, Azure, GCP).
