  • What this job can offer you
  • This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Senior Specialist, Strategic Initiatives, as part of our Global Payroll and HCM Services team. In this position, within the Global Payroll and HCM Services team, successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and driving a team’s key projects and long-term goals by coordinating with senior leadership, managing strategic project execution, and ensuring strategic alignment within the department and cross-functionally. It is a great opportunity to be a key part of all strategic initiatives of the team and work alongside senior leadership in scaling the team and products and services.
  • What you bring
  • Extensive experience in business operations, project management, or a similar role.
  • Extensive experience working alongside senior leadership and coordinating projects that translate high-level strategy into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in working cross-functionally on strategic projects with business-wide impact.
  • Previous experience leading cross-functional multi-stakeholder projects in a startup/scale up environment.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work asynchronously with a distributed global team.
  • You are a manager of one
  • Writes and speaks fluent English.
  • It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with senior leadership of the team to develop and implement projects to achieve team goals.
  • Project manage cross-functional strategic projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on operational performance and project progress.
  • Collect and analyse data to provide insights into business operations and enable senior leadership decision making.
  • Lead communication and coordination among teams to achieve team and company objectives.
  • Act as liaision between business operations, leadership, teams and departments to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Champion process optimization, documentation, and automation to improve scalability and consistency.
  • Be able to go from “scout to scale” and deliver excellence with intensity and care.
  • Be an internal and external champion of Remote's values.
