Our work spans podcast repurposing, short-form content, social media growth, newsletters, and full-funnel content systems. We are looking for a Video Editor who doesn’t just cut clips and add captions, but knows how to make them go viral. The right candidate is proactive, up to date with trends, understands storytelling, hooks, and emotional triggers, and is able to research what works for each unique audience. ## What You’ll Do - Edit short-form and long-form video content (podcasts) for social platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn). - Watch or listen to podcasts, interviews, and videos to find the most valuable clips. - Add strong hooks (text, captions, visuals, or sound) to grab attention in the first 3 seconds. - Spark emotion and curiosity, whether through editing, pacing, or creative overlays. - Research trends, competitor content, and viral hooks to guide editing choices. - Adapt editing style to match different client brands, industries, and target audiences. - Collaborate with our content and strategy team to ensure videos align with campaign goals. ## What We’re Looking For - Proven experience editing for social media (please share examples/portfolio). - Ability to identify and create viral hooks. - Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and emotional engagement. - Knowledge of current social media trends and platform-specific best practices. - Research-driven: knows how to study an audience, industry, or trend to inform edits. - Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro is preferred). - Bonus: experience with motion graphics, memes, or creative overlays. ## Who You Are - Creative and curious, always testing new styles and approaches. - Detail-oriented but fast, balancing quality with turnaround time. - Flexible in editing style, able to adjust for different clients and audiences. - Someone who understands that editing is not just technical—it’s about making people stop scrolling and watch. ## Why Join Us - Work with a team that values creativity and results. - Get exposure to a variety of clients and industries. - Grow with a company that is scaling quickly in social media and podcast marketing. - Remote, flexible work with opportunity for long-term growth. ## How to Apply Send your portfolio, examples of your best work (especially short-form/viral content), and a short note explaining how you approach creating a strong hook.
