We are seeking a Software Developer with experience in Artificial Intelligence, automation engineering, and cross-platform API integration to design and deliver intelligent solutions that transform business operations. This role will directly support our Financial Forecast and Software Asset Management (SAM) team, focusing on optimizing and modernizing homegrown financial governance and software lifecycle tools. The ideal candidate will leverage AI technologies to create smarter, easier workflows, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance software renewal and asset visibility. The position involves building scalable AI-driven applications, automating complex workflows, and connecting diverse systems and data sources to drive operational efficiency, financial transparency, and innovation. We are looking for a Software Developer Engineer II – AI & Automation who will: Automation Engineering: Build automation scripts, workflows, and orchestration pipelines to streamline budget forecasting, software renewals, and SAM processes. Tooling Enhancement: Modernize and optimize existing homegrown tools supporting IT financial governance, using AI/LLM capabilities for intelligent recommendations, data entry simplification, and predictive analysis. API Development & Integration: Design, optimize, and manage RESTful APIs connecting financial systems, software inventory data, and enterprise platforms. Data Processing & Model Orchestration: Develop robust data pipelines for financial and asset datasets using AWS/Azure services such as ADO Pipelines, Lambda, Step Functions, and S3. Data Visualization & Reporting: Design and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide real-time insights into financial forecasts, budgets, and software asset data. Database Design & Optimization: Work with SQL and relational databases to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and performance for reporting and analytics. Performance & Scalability: Optimize AI Agents and APIs for speed, security, and scalability in distributed environments. Collaboration: Partner closely with Finance, Procurement, and IT teams to deliver fully integrated AI and automation solutions. Monitoring & Maintenance: Implement logging, monitoring, and automated testing for AI Agents, APIs, and financial/SAM workflows. Is this opportunity right for you?
