- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop high-level architecture and design for software solutions, ensuring they meet both functional and non-functional requirements such as performance, security, and scalability.
- Create architectural documentation and diagrams to support development and implementation.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks that align with Playtech’s technical standards and strategic goals.
- Design integration strategies to ensure seamless interaction between various systems and components, working closely with other architects and engineers to ensure compatibility.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the implementation phase, ensuring alignment with architectural design and standards.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, communicating complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Identify potential risks and devise strategies to mitigate them, ensuring that solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements to existing systems and processes.

- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Possess 5–6 years of experience in IT or a related field, with at least 3–5 years in a senior technical or developer role.
- Understand cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Are familiar with architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman.
- Have knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bring experience with API management, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Understand cybersecurity principles, data management, and infrastructure technologies such as networking, servers, and virtualization.
- Have experience managing or leading IT projects and working with different stakeholders to align solutions with business needs.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, especially when translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead technical teams and drive architectural decisions.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and understand how to incorporate them into business solutions.
- Understand business processes and how technology can drive value, including working with third-party vendors and evaluating their solutions.
