  • In this role, you will serve as a strategic technical leader within a managed services team, delivering cloud-native data platform solutions that drive measurable business value. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to architect, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms. The position requires hands-on expertise across cloud ecosystems, data integration tools, and platform management, combined with the ability to guide teams and influence executive stakeholders. You will ensure platforms are aligned with operational best practices while championing continuous improvement and automation. This is a high-impact role, balancing technical depth, client engagement, and mentorship in a dynamic, remote-first environment that values innovation and collaboration.
  • Accountabilities
  • Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of large-scale data platform projects across cloud environments such as Snowflake, AWS, and Azure.
  • Guide technical teams through data migrations, integrations, and platform performance optimization.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency to maximize platform ROI.
  • Ensure robust platform security and adherence to data governance best practices.
  • Adapt platform architectures in response to evolving technology and upstream data changes.
  • Manage multiple client engagements, delivering projects on time and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience architecting, designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native data platforms.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, including presenting to executives and producing detailed solution documentation.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Data Warehouse) and performance optimization.
  • Expertise in cloud services across AWS, Azure, and Snowflake ecosystems (S3, ADLS, Kinesis, Data Factory, DBT, Kafka).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing, debugging, and optimizing complex queries.
  • Experience with DevOps and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with data integration and ETL tools such as AWS Data Migration Services, Azure Data Factory, Matillion, Fivetran, or Spark.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Preferred: Snowflake SnowPro Core certification, Python proficiency for automation, hands-on CI/CD deployment experience.
