The Role AspenTech is looking for a new Sr Customer Enablement Specialist in Rio de Janeiro. This role will serve as a central coordination hub across multidisciplinary teams including geoscientists, data management professionals, software specialists, and client stakeholders, to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of Upstream projects using AspenTech’s Subsurface Science & Engineering software suites. This is a high-impact opportunity to directly support one of Aspen Technology’s largest and most strategic customers in Latin America while contributing to Aspen Technology’s continued growth and success in the region. Your Impact Provide loyalty-inspiring customer service that drives user engagement and sustains product usage. Serve as the primary coordination point between geoscientists, data management teams, software specialists, and customer stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery aligned with defined scope, schedule, quality, and contractual commitments. Track and manage project milestones, deliverables, risks, and dependencies, proactively escalating issues and driving resolution within Aspen Technology. Facilitate and support project governance activities, including planning sessions, technical workshops, and regular status meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, identifying and communicating potential risks or gaps to management in a timely manner. Prepare and deliver activity reports, project updates, and status communications to customers and internal management as required. Provide timely and accurate KPI reporting for operations, financial, and corporate requirements. Collaborate with other Aspen Technology functions to maintain and develop business opportunities. Develop strong relationships with Customer, building an understanding of their business needs and operational challenges. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project coordination practices, delivery workflows, and customer engagement models. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Data Science or Geosciences. Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in IT, engineering, data science or geoscience related disciplines. University experience may count. Experience managing Upstream Data Experience coordinating Upstream Projects across multidisciplinary technical teams, including geoscientists, data management professionals and software specialists. Familiarity with methodologies, tools, and best practices for tracking milestones, risks, and deliverables. Experience creating dashboard and reporting metrics to track project performance and operational KPIs. Familiarity with data and workflows to support quantitative seismic inversion projects. Previous experience working on-site with customers is a plus. Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to identify opportunities that create value for customers with a strong customer first mindset. Ability to proactively take the leads in resolving complex technical issues and/or difficult organisational problems with an innovative approach.
