  • In this role, you will work with complex data sets and cutting-edge cloud platforms to design, develop, and implement advanced analytical models that drive business insights and decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers and machine learning engineers, ensuring models are robust, scalable, and operationalized effectively.   • Accountabilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for model design and implementation.
  • Perform data manipulation, cleaning, and preprocessing for model development and evaluation.
  • Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning models and algorithms for real-world applications.
  • Communicate results through reports, visualizations, and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams to leverage MLOps frameworks and ensure model longevity.
  • Drive thought leadership by contributing to open-source projects, sharing insights, and advancing data science best practices.
  • Proactively take ownership of projects and implement data science solutions tailored to client or business needs.
  • Advanced degree or equivalent expertise in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or Operations Research.
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience building models and developing algorithms for real-world applications.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced mathematics, statistics, and machine learning concepts.
  • Proficiency in programming and data analysis tools such as Python, R, PySpark, SQL, NumPy, SciPy, matplotlib, scikit-learn, and Jupyter notebooks.
  • Experience with data science algorithms and packages, including XGBoost, Random Forests, and Facebook Prophet.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Databricks is preferred.
  • Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (RAG, DALL-E, Bard/Gemini, ChatGPT) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
