  • Summary
  • The Config UI Squad is responsible for creating and maintaining frontend and backend tools within the Pismo platform. This team develops and maintains services and tools that enable seamless onboarding and configuration of Pismo’s products, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience.
  • The squad values strong engineering collaboration, well-established documentation practices, and clear estimation processes, fostering a transparent and structured work environment.
  • What you'll do
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient systems focused on configuration and onboarding tools.
  • Build and evolve integration layers connecting internal and external services, with a focus on usability and efficiency.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and reusable components within a microservices-based architecture.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
  • Work with modern engineering best practices, prioritizing security, performance, and scalability.
  • Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions within the squad.
  • Operate in a highly documented environment, emphasizing clear and transparent communication.
  • Engage in mentoring, continuous learning, and technical improvement initiatives.
  • This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties to be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.
  • Qualifications
  • For this role, you must be based in Brazil

Language Skills

  • Proficiency in English at B1 level (Intermediate) or above

Technical Skills

  • At least 6 months of experience working with Go (Golang) in production environments.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience with REST APIs and modern backend development practices.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and continuous integration workflows.
  • Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues in complex systems.
  • Strong focus on testing and software quality.
  • Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience working in high-scale and high-availability environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker/Containers.
  • Knowledge of messaging systems and event-driven architectures.
  • Understanding of observability practices (monitoring, tracing, alerting).
  • Background in Agile methodologies and production support.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
