  • As a Staff Backend .NET C# Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the technical foundation of a modern, scalable platform. You will design, implement, and maintain microservice-based architectures while ensuring high performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, contribute to architecture discussions, and implement best practices in cloud-based systems. You will mentor junior engineers, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive the adoption of modern development practices. The role offers the chance to influence platform modernization and work on high-impact projects in a fully remote, dynamic, and collaborative environment across Latin America.
  • Accountabilities
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable, flexible, and highly available modern platform architectures aligned with business objectives.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and documentation, ensuring maintainable and modular software design.
  • Build, test, and iterate on new features using a “fail fast” approach to quickly validate solutions.
  • Serve as the technical expert on microservice-based applications, ensuring optimal decoupling and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, specifications, and integration points.
  • Optimize platform performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness using cloud services, particularly AWS.
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges, ensuring reliability and uptime.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends related to cloud computing and modern platform architecture.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 9+ years of experience in software development.
  • 7+ years of experience with C# / .NET technologies.
  • Strong skills in Minimal API, REST API, and Vertical Slicing development patterns.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and cloud infrastructure, especially AWS IAM, AWS DynamoDB, AWS S3, and AWS SQS.
  • Experience with observability tools such as OTEL (C#) and DataDog.
  • Advanced English proficiency for communication with international clients.
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide engineering teams, driving technical excellence and collaboration.
