Job Summary We are seeking a data engineer to support the design and delivery of a modern, cloud-native platform for sales and acquisition initiatives. This role will focus on building scalable data pipelines and services that enable marketing and sales operations, including lead generation, customer engagement, consent and permissions management, and conversion optimization. The data engineer will collaborate across engineering, product, marketing, and analytics teams to ensure data integrity, performance, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable data pipelines and services aligned to cloud-native and API-first principles. Support shared services for sales and marketing workflows, including lead capture, engagement, and conversion. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data architecture with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code. Partner with analytics and data science teams to enable real-time data access, activation, and reporting. Ensure data solutions support application and system architecture across digital and assisted channels. Evaluate cloud platform decisions based on data latency, scalability, and operational resilience. Ensure compliance with enterprise security, privacy, and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2). Participate in architectural governance and contribute to technical planning and design reviews. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or technical delivery roles. Proven experience building cloud-native data pipelines and services. Strong understanding of marketing technology, sales enablement, and customer engagement systems. Experience with consent and permissions frameworks in regulated environments. Proficiency in modern data engineering tools and practices Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work across technical and business domains. Preferred Qualifications Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud data strategies. Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs), data lakes, and real-time analytics pipelines. Background in sales, acquisition, or lead management systems. Experience with event-driven data architectures and enterprise integration patterns. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field required. Master’s degree preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, dbt, Snowflake) are a plus. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $130,295.00 - $260,590.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
