  • What You'll Do
  • Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and maintainable UI solutions that support internal developer workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify developer pain points and translate them into actionable improvements.
  • Drive platform-level enhancements using technologies like microfrontends, React, GraphQL, and AWS.
  • Research and pilot emerging technologies—including AI—to improve developer tooling and experience.
  • Influence product roadmaps and engineering standards through proactive engagement and technical leadership.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and inclusive design.
  • Demonstrate deep technical knowledge to understand and shape requirements for internal platform improvements.
  • Identify and lead solution strategies that enhance developer experience, security, and code quality.
  • Apply best practices in frontend architecture and secure coding to deliver robust UI components.
  • Collaborate with other squads to pilot new capabilities and ensure seamless integration across systems.
  • Analyse and resolve bugs, performance issues, and usability challenges with minimal guidance.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to align technical initiatives with product goals.
  • This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. #LI-Remote
  • Qualifications
  • Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on scalable -
  • English level B2 or above
  • Solid experience with UI architecture
  • Proven expertise in modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript, React and GraphQL
  • Experience working in cloud environments (AWS prefered)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor other engineers.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimisation.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in agile environments and contributing to product roadmaps.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote, multicultural team setting.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of micro frontend patterns
  • Experience improving developer experience in platform-level engineering.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts or interest in exploring emerging technologies.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or internal tooling initiatives.
