Partner with the best The Structural Engineering is part of the solution scope for the flexible pipe business and deals with the development of ancillary equipment necessary for logistics, installation, and operation of the system. The activities consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the user’s needs. The discipline executes a robust process of design, finite element analysis, optimization of ancillaries, and creation of alternate design concepts, aiming efficiency, smart design, productivity and cost saving. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for: Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for flexible pipeline equipment and components. Participate in applied R&D projects and equipment design improvements. To develop, check the design and layout of all components and systems like end fitting/ancillaries that compose the flexible pipe systems. Perform assigned technical tasks, including structural analysis, calculations, design, verification, and study activities. Collaborate with other Project Specialists and Designers on problem solving. Collaborate in technical activities performed internally and externally to ensure compliance with technical requirements and adherence to established deadlines. Create and propose process improvements, as well as provide technical assistance and guide the team. Requiring understanding of a concepts, methods, and procedures Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering or Naval Engineering Hold active CREA At least 3 years’ experience with finite element analysis Advanced English level Have good experience in Engineering/ Technology Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks, MathCAD and Excel. Have effective problem identification and solution skills. Have proven analytical and organizational ability.
