  • The role of Leader is to effectively execute the operations' business plan, applying EBS tools & processes to achieve the highest level of productivity, quality and employee satisfaction. The Leader acts as an agent of the Corporation in carrying out accountabilities consistent with policies, administrative guidelines and prescribed ethical conduct. Through effective personal leadership, the Leader builds Operations Excellence consistent with EPWP guidelines, balanced with a culture that embraces Positive Employee Relations, recognizing the needs of each individual employee. A. Keep full attendance of the manufacturing program in own area through program adequateness, orienting proper utilization of men, machines, methods and process B. Assure fulfillment of machining specifications of parts through analysis of proper application of fabrication processes and control plans C. Assure fulfillment of productivity, scrap, quality, setup, standard work, kanban, 5S and autonomous maintenance through the application of concepts and tools of EBS D. Maintain productivity and quality, complying with equipment working conditions, better utilization of time available and established processes and work methods E. Attain desired company quality standards proposing changes in projects and manufacturing processes and control plans F. Maximize efficiency of productive process, searching for solutions of technical and functional problems or electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems of peaces of equipment G. Minimize interference on production in consequence of tool failures, process abnormalities looking for supply alternatives H. Contribute to minimize equipment maintenance costs introducing project improvements to the equipment to render it proper to the work that is demanded and reduce wear of components and upkeep labor I. Analyze and take action in relation to absenteeism index J. Maximize the performance of the area through selection, training, fulfillment of the hygiene and safety programs, orienting and motivating the employees Effective verbal and written communication skills (Leadership style) Provide training, coaching, motivation and counseling to employees to encourage optimum performance and continues skill development (BOC) Managerial courage to drive changes, sustain continuous improvement atmosphere and employee involvement (BOC) Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and direct the activities to a group of people (Gets results) Facilitation, conflict resolution, problem solving and analysis skills (Thinks & acts strategically) Product and process knowledge Quality management system Complete bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering. Good reading and understanding English language EBS, Lean Mfg, MS Office Safety experience Keep subordinates committed to engagement in the attainment of goals (i.e. 5S, TS 16949, safety and others programs) Manages Individual & Organizational Performance Manages Change Meet the zero scrap goal
