Position Summary We are actively seeking a Support Engineer, Oracle Agile PLM. The role will report directly to the Regional Manager, Manage LATAM OA Delivery and provide exceptional remote-based support for mission-critical Oracle Agile PLM modules as part of our global Application Managed Services support team. Qualified candidates can work remotely in Brazil. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Evaluate complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting based on expert knowledge of Oracle functionality and develop an action plan to resolve issues, either directly or through promotion to our Product Support Team (L4). Provide hands-on assistance to end users via remote client connectivity or collaborative web meetings. Work closely with end users daily to understand their needs, support business change and deliver consistently high-quality customer experience. Replicate reported issues as needed for troubleshooting. Provide new or modified application configurations to resolve incidents. Advise end users and junior coworkers on application functionality and capabilities. Recommend changes to training based on incident volumes and trends. Create scripts to identify, analyze and correct data issues. Thoroughly document change requests, test results, and approvals Develop test scripts for new/changed application capabilities. Be a proactive contributor to a support organization which is running 24x7x365, this will require the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays and monitoring email regularly outside standard business hours. Collaborate with team members in a virtual team environment to extend field experience to different client situations. Contribute to the development and management of knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and creative processes, to improve client experience. Experience 5+ years of Oracle Agile PLM 3+ years direct support of application end-users in a corporate environment Functional expertise with solid understanding of underlying data flow, tables, and functionality in Oracle Agile PLM of modules (Product Collaboration PC, Product Cost Mgmt PCM, Autovue, etc.), knowledge in Prodcut Governance and Compliance (PG&C), Product Portfolio Management (PPM), Product Cost Management (PCM), Product Quality Management (PQM), is a plus. Expertise in Agile PLM Tools, BI, Data mart Expertise with Oracle Agile, including full life-cycle implementation experience, configuration, and administration of the application. Knowledge of Oracle maintenance/patching mechanics and architecture Demonstrable history solving complex problems across multiple modules. Configure Oracle applications based on BR.100 documents. Produce functional specifications (MD050) and test scripts documents for custom objects. Test RICE objects referring to test documents (TE.040) Train client business users in Oracle Agile. Work closely with client Oracle SMEs and Management. Experience with helpdesk tools like ServiceNow / Jira / Salesforce. Additional Duties & Responsibilities Participate in a 24x7x365 On Call rotation with other team members, across different time zones. This position is required to support clients in specific business hours. Share / replicate knowledge and create internal training material for peers. Skills Superb trouble-shooting skills and tenacity in problem solving. Passionate focus on customer support and the ability to build long term, successful working relationships with Clients. Create scripts to identify, analyze and correct data issues (PL/SQL) Strong knowledge of key application functionality Excellent English communication skills – verbal & written are required. Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly. Extreme focus on Client satisfaction Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations. The ability to work remotely from a home-based office in a virtual environment. Expertise in Agile database corruption/verify troubleshooting and problem resolution. Desired Qualifications The best candidates will have knowledge of multiple Oracle Agile modules across releases (9.x) including proficiency with product module business processes, navigation mechanics, configuration requirements, integration with other modules and knowledge of underlying technology. Experience with localizations and global implementations would be an advantage. Education & Certification Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience ITIL certification is a plus.
