- As a Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of software products by providing technical assistance to customers. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, collaborate closely with engineering and product teams, and contribute to improving internal tools and processes. This role balances hands-on technical work with customer-facing problem solving, offering the opportunity to make a direct impact on customer satisfaction and product reliability. You will work in a remote, collaborative environment, supporting a diverse customer base while continuously learning and growing your technical skills.
- Accountabilities
- Handle first-level technical support tickets, investigating and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in a nighttime on-call rotation (weekdays) to address urgent customer issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and other teams to improve the overall customer experience.
- Work on internal tooling, minor coding tasks, and process improvements to enhance support efficiency.
- Provide clear and accurate documentation of support cases and resolutions.
- Identify recurring issues and propose solutions to prevent future problems.
- High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable using tools like Postman or curl to reproduce and debug issues with REST APIs.
- Ability to read and write workable code in languages such as Python, TypeScript, or Ruby.
- Proficiency in SQL for data investigation and troubleshooting.
- Experience in technical support or software engineering.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to think holistically about issues.
- Customer-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and curiosity to ask questions.
