I run a video business in NY and I’m looking to add another freelance video editor to my team to help with ongoing short-form content projects. I work with a range of clients — mostly coaches, consultants, doctors, and service-based business owners — and the editing style varies from scripted, polished videos to fast-paced in-the-moment clips. What I’m looking for: -Strong foundation in the English language and a good eye for storytelling -Understanding "hooks" and virality -Ability to make creative decisions and select the most engaging moments from raw footage -Reliable communication and fast turnaround times -Comfortable editing two-camera setups (multi-cam syncing is a must) -Able to download and process large 4K files -Experience color grading SLOG-3 footage -Confident adding English captions and sourcing relevant B-roll (stock or AI-generated) -Organized and efficient — someone who can manage multiple projects at once The work: $20 per short-form edit to start (60-90s) Each project usually includes 8–16 short-form videos Occasional longer-form videos (at a higher rate) Monthly earnings for my editors typically range from $500–$900, with potential to grow over time.
