- The team you will be a part of
- The Information Systems team is responsible for implementation of the enterprise architecture and the development and maintenance of the organization's computing/IT environment. Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the applications.
- This role in summary
- As a Tech manager, you will be responsible for leading the backend development teams in building our global ecommerce platform, proposing the best solutions and technology stacks and ensuring the integration of processes and systems necessary to increase the scalability of our business and accelerate our capacity for development and innovation.
- Your responsibilities will include
- Lead technical backend development team responsible for new ecommerce solutions & Digital Product Enhancements
- Propose and validate the best development languages and technology stacks to be adopted
- Interact with business areas being able to translate needs into technical requirements
- Negotiate and mediate conflicts between teams and areas of the company
- Ensure proper prioritization of the backlog
- Manage highly complex projects (costs, deadlines, scope)
- Work together with the architecture team to ensure performance and scalability of solutions
- Minimum requirements
- Education: Graduate or postgraduate in System Information, Computer science, Mathematics or Engineering
- Language skills: Fluent English
- Expertise in backend software development, cloud technologies (AWS/GCP), microservices, integrations, and APIs (REST/gRPC).
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, Python, and database design (SQL/NoSQL).
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of compliance (GDPR, PCI-DSS) and data privacy in backend systems.
- Preferred skills and experiences
- Experience with complex systems and big projects
- Previous experience with ERP systems and integrations (mainly SAP S/4 Hana)
- Experience with ecommerce platforms (VTEX, Hybris, Shopify, Magento, etc)
- AWS certifications
- Proficiency in agile development methodologies and tools
- Additional information
- This position will act in a Global Team and will have an important role in a Project to create our Global Kitchen Aid E-commerce platform.
- Although the Global scope, our technical lead team is based on São Paulo, so, this person should be able to work in person sometimes (live outside from São Paulo is not an impediment, but in this case, the person will have to afford it)
- Eventually, this person will have to travel for work (short trips) to other places such as the USA, Europe, Asia, Latin America.
