  • Rockstar is recruiting for a rapidly growing PropTech SaaS company that is redefining how commercial and industrial real estate is managed. This client combines connected hardware, advanced analytics, and AI-driven insights to help owners and operators improve margins, reduce risk, and accelerate decarbonization. Their platform is trusted across hundreds of millions of square feet of commercial and industrial assets owned by leading institutional landlords.
  • Mission
  • The client is seeking a self-starting, results-driven Project Manager to act as the quarterback of the Operations team. In this role, the Project Manager will work hand-in-hand with clients, installation partners, Operations, Sales, and Client Success to deliver connected hardware deployments on time, on budget, and at the highest quality. This individual will be the central point of accountability and communication — ensuring every stakeholder is aligned, every task is tracked, and every project closes successfully.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • - Quarterback of Delivery: Coordinate across clients, installers, Operations, Sales, and Client Success, keeping all stakeholders aligned and accountable.
  • - Ownership & Urgency: Drive projects forward with urgency and discipline, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
  • - Client & Stakeholder Communication: Provide proactive, transparent updates — good or bad — with weekly client updates and regular internal reporting.
  • - Project Management Discipline: Log daily updates in the project management software to ensure full visibility and eliminate surprises.
  • - Transparency & Systems Mindset: Operate with full transparency, using systems and tools to create leverage, scale faster, and raise standards.
  • - Efficiency & Continuous Improvement: Always look for ways to do more with less by streamlining workflows, standardizing processes, and introducing efficiencies.
  • - Contractor Network Management: Direct and hold installation partners accountable to quality, consistency, and safety standards.
  • - Quality Leadership: Enforce QA and commissioning checklists, ensuring every deployment meets high standards of accuracy and reliability.
  • Ideal Candidate
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • - 3–5 years managing complex field deployments, installations, or IoT/smart building projects.
  • - Proven experience working in fast-paced startup environments where urgency, adaptability, and ownership are essential.
  • - Prior experience working for or with American companies and clients; comfortable communicating directly with U.S.-based stakeholders.
  • - Formal training in project management best practices; PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • - Advanced user of project management tools (Notion, Asana, Jira, or MS Project).
  • - Demonstrated ability to build structured project plans, manage dependencies, and enforce accountability across cross-functional teams.
  • - Strong communicator with U.S.-based clients and internal stakeholders.
  • - Relentless self-starter with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to standard.
  • - Calm under pressure, detail-focused, and disciplined in execution.
  • - This remote role is open to countries in South America who can work with EST/CST business hours.
