• Proven experience as a technical writer for APIs and developer platforms, with public examples of work (URLs). Strong hands-on experience with OpenAPI/Swagger (OpenAPI 3) and experience producing API reference documentation. Ability to read and write sample code (at least one common language) and incorporate code snippets into documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics. Experience authoring a range of documentation types: reference, how-to, conceptual, troubleshooting and microcontent. Comfortable working autonomously and as part of cross-functional, distributed teams in an Agile environment. Experience receiving and acting on feedback to improve documentation quality. Experience with documentation tools and platforms (e.g., Markdown-based static site generators, Confluence, Read the Docs, or similar). Practical understanding of generative AI and responsible use of AI-assisted writing tools. Experience with AI-enabled documentation platforms or copilots (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, DocuMind, or equivalents). Ability to use AI to accelerate content creation, editing and sample-code generation while ensuring technical accuracy and quality.
