I’m seeking an experienced bookkeeper for a temporary role to assist in managing bookkeeping tasks across three different clients. Each client has their own QuickBooks Online login, and I need support with categorizing transactions, reconciliations, and credit card activity. Some transactions will be exported into Excel and entered into QuickBooks via journal entries. In addition to completing the bookkeeping, I need someone who can create transparent/clear, repeatable processes/instructions and train my assistant so that they can continue handling the work after. Responsibilities: Log into three separate QuickBooks Online accounts (access will be provided). Categorize and properly classify transactions. Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Export credit card activity into Excel, prepare/review, and enter transactions back into QuickBooks (journal entries when needed). Enter and reconcile credit card transactions. Document step-by-step processes for ongoing bookkeeping tasks. Train my assistant to take over the daily/weekly work after the setup is complete. Flag discrepancies or missing information and communicate with me as needed. Requirements: Proven experience with QuickBooks Online (multi-client experience preferred). Strong Excel skills (sorting, organizing data, preparing journal entries). Solid understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entries. Experience in creating documentation and training others. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Clear communicator, patient, and organized. Reliable, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive financial information. Nice to Have (not required): Experience with real estate, property management, or service-based businesses. Ability to suggest workflow improvements for efficiency. Workload & Duration: Temporary role (short-term project) It might take 3-6 months. An estimated 10–15 hours per month for initial setup and training. May decrease once processes are established and the assistant is trained.
