Position Summary: The Executive Director, Business Operations – Clinical Nursing provides strategic leadership and direction for the Coram Infusion and Specialty Services nursing organization. This role oversees clinical and operational functions to ensure consistent, high-quality nursing care across the enterprise. The Executive Director is responsible for developing the nursing strategy, designing and implementing nursing services and programs, driving operational plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while delivering exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Program Development Design, implement, and deliver nursing services and programs aligned with enterprise strategy. Partner cross-functionally with pharmacy operations, specialty services, and other stakeholders to enhance the customer experience. Develop business plans supporting multiple therapies using internal and external clinical resources. Identify growth opportunities in specialty and home infusion services; present and execute strategic plans. Drive financial performance through budget development and oversight to ensure profitability. Represent CVS Specialty & Coram Nursing at the enterprise level via the Nurse Leadership and Development Council. Operational Oversight & Team Leadership Lead high-performing clinical teams across various therapies through data-driven analysis and effective communication. Establish tactical and operational plans that directly impact nursing team outcomes. Direct nursing teams and clinical operations support, collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve service delivery. Develop nursing team structure and goals to promote consistent care and align with business growth strategies. Support operations leaders in implementing productivity tools and practices to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Oversee development of educational programs, competency assessments, and training materials to ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards. Required Qualifications: 15+ years of experience in a clinical, home infusion, or home health environment. 15+ years of experience leading clinical teams. Proficiency in Microsoft business software. Demonstrated expertise in infusion therapy and Medicare/Medicaid home health requirements. Proven ability to manage financial performance and oversee budgets. Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive presence. Ability to interpret policies, contracts, financial statements, technical procedures, and government regulations. Effective cross-departmental management and collaboration. Strategic business planning and execution capabilities. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Experience managing cross-functional projects and resolving escalated customer issues. Knowledge of accreditation requirements and processes. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with the Specialty Pharmacy business. In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, regulatory requirements, third-party payors, and healthcare information systems. Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent experience. Active nursing license required. Master’s degree preferred. Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $131,500.00 - $303,195.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
