  • The Amazon First Mile team is looking for a First Mile Operations Analyst to
  • raise the bar and ensure that every customer and seller across the country
  • receives the speed, quality, and reliability they expect from Amazon;
  • The First Mile Transportation Analyst works on a 5x2 schedule (Monday to Friday)
  • and is responsible for monitoring carrier performance and compliance in the
  • pickup (inbound) operation, coordinating with internal and external teams;
  • Additionally, they support the launch of new logistics partners;
  • This role requires a strong willingness to take on responsibilities, keen
  • analytical skills to identify patterns and trends, and the ability to examine
  • details and analyze data, diving deep into the root causes of operational issues
  • and proposing solutions;
  • Operations run 7 days a week, including holidays; therefore, working different
  • shifts will be part of this role.
  • Key job responsibilities
  • - Manage the Marketplace pickup operation within Amazon Logistics;
  • - Monitor logistics partners' operations daily and hour by hour, resolving
  • operational issues to ensure on-time pickups;
  • - Collaborate with carriers to address daily challenges in a constructive and
  • solution-oriented manner, identifying opportunities to improve the end-to-end
  • process and overall operational efficiency;
  • - Analyze data from multiple sources to identify key trends and support quick,
  • informed business decisions in daily operations;
  • - Manage, analyze, and enhance performance metrics;
  • - Conduct deep dives into the root causes of operational issues and implement
  • effective solutions;
  • - Respond to seller inquiries related to pickup operations;
  • - Present metrics to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining frequent
  • communication to drive operational improvements;
  • - Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, ensuring
  • alignment with objectives, compliance standards, and data privacy policies;
  • - Develop practical and straightforward solutions to complex operational
  • challenges;
  • - Support the launch of new pickup operations across Brazil. Basic
  • Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration,
  • Logistics, or related fields;
  • - Ability to multitask, managing multiple collection partners simultaneously
  • with attention to station details;
  • - Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays;
  • - MS Office proficiency, with intermediate level Excel skills (vlookup, advanced
  • formulas, pivot tables, macros);
  • - Excellent Communication skills - dealing with carriers as
  • stakeholders/clients;
  • - Fluent Portuguese;
  • - Experience in Logistics and Transportation. Preferred Qualifications: -
  • Intermediate English;
  • - Last Mile operations experience;
  • - SQL Knowledge;
  • - Previous experience in process monitoring and analysis, metrics, and
  • problem-solving;
