  • The Travel Security Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient travel security operation of our business. This role involves a blend of customer support, logistics coordination, and data analysis. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Tasks and responsibilities
  • Support Tickets
  • Respond promptly to support tickets submitted by employees travelling to higher risk countries, utilizing holding messages or canned responses as appropriate
  • Accurately route support tickets according to established standard operating procedures
  • Escalate re-opened and complex support tickets to the Operations Manager
  • Transportation Requests
  • Monitor transportation requests and ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently
  • Provide support to users experiencing issues with transportation requests within the same business day
  • Proactively coordinate with client-vetted transportation suppliers to address and resolve any obstacles
  • Escalate unresolved transportation issues to the Operations Manager for further action
  • Documentation and Analysis
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all transportation-related issues and their resolution.
  • Develop and implement standardized data collection procedures from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze current administrative processes on a monthly or quarterly basis, as requested by the client, to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
  • Translate complex data and concepts into clear and concise insights
  • Generate monthly reports that provide insights into operational performance
  • Design and produce high-quality slide deck presentations
  • Develop and maintain a well-organized and easily accessible system for team documentation and shared drives.

Experience and education

  • 3-4 years of experience in a role involving customer support, logistics coordination, or data analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese required. Spanish abilities desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to apply data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R, or similar) and techniques to interpret and present complex information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively.
