I’m building AutoOutreach.ai, an AI-powered cold email SaaS that manages lead generation, inbox warmup, campaign automation, and deliverability. The codebase was built through Replit and I need a developer who can debug tricky bugs, optimize system efficiency, and keep the platform scalable. This is not a full build role, I handle most feature development myself. What I need is a reliable developer who can jump in when bugs appear, fix them properly, and ensure the system stays stable. Tech Stack Frontend - React 18 + TypeScript - Wouter (routing), TanStack Query v5 - shadcn/ui + Radix UI, Tailwind CSS (dark mode) - Vite, Framer Motion Backend - Node.js + Express.js (TypeScript) - Drizzle ORM + PostgreSQL (Neon serverless) - Passport.js (Google OAuth), session-based auth - Zod for validation AI & APIs - OpenAI GPT-5 - Outscraper API, Apollo.io API - WarmupInbox API - Gmail & Zoho APIs (OAuth sending) - Stripe, Google Sheets API What You’ll Be Doing - Debug complex issues with async/await, job queues, API calls, and database transactions. - Review and optimize AI prompts (system relies heavily on GPT-5 prompts). - Audit and optimize API integrations (error handling, retry logic, quota enforcement). - Ensure email deliverability best practices (SPF/DKIM/DMARC, warmup, CAN-SPAM/GDPR). - Code outside of Replit (your local environment, Cursor, VS Code, etc.) and safely merge code back into Replit/GitHub. - Work closely with me via video calls and async updates — communication and camaraderie matter. Must-Haves - Strong TypeScript and Node.js debugging skills. - Experience with email APIs (Gmail/Zoho/SendGrid/Outlook). - Understanding of deliverability & compliance (warmup, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, unsubscribe handling). - Comfortable with timezone handling (Pacific Time vs UTC vs user-local). - Cold email SaaS experience strongly preferred. Nice-to-Haves - Drizzle ORM or similar ORM experience. - Service-oriented architecture or job queue background. - Familiarity with lead gen/cold outreach tools. - Replit experience (or Git-based merging). Work Style - Patient, detail-oriented, security-conscious. - Can debug root causes, not just patch symptoms. - Able to collaborate over video calls, I want someone I actually enjoy working with.
