- Accountabilities
As a Web Designer (Marketing-Focused), you will
- Create visually compelling marketing materials, including landing pages, advertisements, social media graphics, and email templates.
- Ensure brand consistency across all design deliverables and marketing channels.
- Develop information architecture and user flows to create intuitive and engaging web experiences.
- Conduct usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate designs to optimize user engagement.
- Build and maintain design systems and detailed style guides for seamless implementation across teams.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design efforts with business goals.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain cutting-edge design solutions.
The ideal candidate will have
- Minimum 5 years of professional design experience in tech, B2B, agency, or freelance environments; startup experience is a plus.
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma.
- Advanced web design expertise, including responsive UI/UX design for desktop and mobile platforms.
- Solid understanding of typography, color theory, grids, and systemic design principles.
- Ability to create scalable design components, interactive prototypes, and detailed design documentation.
- Strong communication skills for presenting research findings, design concepts, and receiving feedback.
- Self-starter mindset with strong ownership, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- A portfolio showcasing a range of work in both print and digital media.
