I need a backend developer to turn my Figma prototype screens into a working mobile app backend. Start off with android and then of course also iOS. The work includes setting up a low-cost server and database (Postgres), building secure login with SMS/email OTP, creating endpoints for discovering nearby users by location, serving user profiles (traits, values, interests), handling alignment requests that become alliances, enabling simple text chat between alliances, and adding basic safety tools (report/block) plus specific rules to be determined. The backend must follow a clear OpenAPI contract you provide, be deployed to an affordable host, and include documentation and simple tests so the frontend can connect and the app can go live. I must own all the code you create and all work related to this project. I am on a tight budget and schedule. One thing I know for sure, after it is complete, the project will look incredible in a portfolio. You will have opportunity and some creative freedom to show the world what you can do!
